Start damp or dry
Towel-dried hair gives the most texture. Dry hair works when you just need to revive yesterday's style.

Six to eight pumps
Hold the bottle a hand's width away and spray through the mid-lengths and ends, not the roots.

Scrunch and lift
Work upward with your fingertips, then push at the roots wherever you want height.

Let it dry down
Air-dry, then scrunch once more to reopen the texture. Do not comb it out.
